We can’t go out to interesting places. But we can stay at home and draw mums’ and dads’ faces. ___ Hello everyone. In the UK we’ve completed our first full week of schools being shut and most people working from home. So I've decided to do some images with a few of my work colleagues - people I work with in my day job I mean, which isn’t Things I Have Drawn. I’ve worked at a great company called MediaCom in London for the past 20 years, and although it’s strange to now just be chatting to people on a computer screen instead of face-to-face, it will, I’m sure, become something we all get used to over time - what, with kids bursting into the room during important conference calls and everything. So here are my first two pics in what might, if they prove popular, become a little series: ‘Things I Have Drawn at Home’ (although in reality it’s the smiley animals that usually get the most likes). In this first image we have Nuria and her little girl Mia, and in the second one is Paul (also known as @themultidad) and that’s his son Finn’s brilliant drawing. If you like them, we’ll do more (I guess we’ll measure their success on the number of laughing emojis). Of course, I could have just asked Nuria and Paul to send me a photo each, rather than doing a screengrab over Zoom, Teams or whatever - but where's the fun in that, hey? They’re pretty lo-res but that’s exactly how they looked on my screen. Stay safe everyone, and if you can, definitely stay home. ___ #thingsihavedrawn #thingsihavedrawnathome #stayhome #wfh #hellofrom #stayathome @mediacomuk @mediacomglobal
